When did you start working for PMF?
I started working at PMF in September 2015.
Describe your role here.
I am the Purchasing Manager. Any order that is placed comes to me and I make sure it gets fulfilled and shipped out to our customers. I assist with finding products for customers and handle pricing. I am also in charge of the warehouse with incoming shipments, inventory control, and setting deliveries.
What do you like best about your career at PMF?
I love my job in general—the tasks and the work I do. I feel like I am really helping to make a difference for our clients, even if it's behind the scenes. But the best thing is how much Brian and Clint make us feel like it is just as much our company as their own. They trust us to do what we know how to do. They make us feel like we are all a family and that is rare to find! I could keep going on and on about what I like best. It's hard to just pick one thing. :)
Tell me about your family.
I have a husband named Hunter who I have been married to for four years (I got married the August before I started at PMF) and I have a Bloodhound fur baby name Elburt.
What was the most exciting trip you ever took?
I would say the most exciting trip was when I got engaged in New Orleans. I had just graduated from Auburn University the week before and this was my celebration trip because New Orleans is my favorite place to travel. I was completely surprised when he proposed. It made the whole trip amazing.
Do you have any hidden talents (or anything you love to do) that you don't get a chance to use much at work?
I was a Majorette during my growing up years—and now I teach Baton here in Opelika.
What's your favorite TV series to binge-watch?
We are currently between shows right now but we just started The Watchmen on HBO. We were big fans Game of Thrones. We also love Stranger Things.
Imagine you won the lottery and you bought your perfect dream house. What five things would you absolutely have to have?
An open floor plan, big bathtub, huge tile shower, a kitchen meant for entertaining, and a nice back yard for my puppy dog!
